Blessed with excellent weather and a fantastic turnout, the event once again highlighted the strong relationships that continue to drive the refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and building services industries forward. Players enjoyed a well-organised day filled with laughter, competitive spirit and valuable interaction among colleagues and clients alike.
The day was officially welcomed by the SAIRAC Durban committee, with special acknowledgement extended to the distinguished guests and industry leaders in attendance, including SAIRAC president Gordon Banks, SAIRAC vice-president Greg Grobbelaar, SARACCA director David Botha and SARACCA president Tony Moodley. Their continued support and involvement contribute greatly to the success and growth of industry initiatives such as these. Beyond the competition on the course, the golf day served as an important platform for strengthening professional relationships and encouraging collaboration across the HVAC&R sector. Events such as these remain vital in maintaining the strong sense of community within the industry while also creating opportunities for networking in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. The evening prize-giving function, led by MC Steve Aburn, brought the day to a fitting close, with players and guests enjoying great food, entertainment and generous prizes sponsored by various companies and supporters.
A special thank you is extended to all sponsors whose contributions ensured the success of the event and added tremendous value to the experience for all participants. SAIRAC Durban would also like to thank the organising committee, volunteers and everyone who participated in making the day such a success. The continued enthusiasm and support from members and industry stakeholders are what make these events possible year after year. As the sun set on another successful SAIRAC Durban golf day, attendees left with strengthened friendships, new business connections and lasting memories – already looking forward to next year’s event.
