Thermo King, part of Trane Technologies, is set to showcase a suite of advanced refrigeration and fleet management solutions at the IFDA Solutions Conference 2025, scheduled for 28 September to 1 October in Columbus, Ohio. The company’s latest innovations focus on strengthening food safety, reducing waste and improving operational efficiency across distribution fleets.
At the forefront of these launches is the TracKing Smart Trailer platform, a telematics solution that delivers real-time visibility into trailer performance. By equipping fleets with actionable data, the system enables predictive maintenance, minimises the risk of load loss, and supports better decision-making throughout the cold chain.
Thermo King will also demonstrate its lifecycle management portfolio, designed to support customers from acquisition to retirement of assets. Through dashboards, visualisation tools and dealer-driven service insights, fleet operators can more effectively manage costs, optimise uptime and maximise long-term equipment value.
Among the technologies featured at IFDA 2025 are:
- Precedent S-610M – A multi-temperature trailer refrigeration unit tailored for diverse food distribution needs
- T-1090 Spectrum – A high-performance, diesel-powered solution for straight truck applications
- Klinge Quick Thaw Unit – A powerful system capable of thawing up to 22 000 pounds (10 000kg) of frozen protein in less than 48 hours, helping distributors move product faster and more efficiently
