This webinar titled ‘Strengthening the Cold Chain: Analysis and Recommendations for West Africa’, focused on current cold chain conditions and future opportunities in Ghana, Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire. Hosted by the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), it featured a panel of global and regional cold chain experts with deep operational, technical and policy experience. The panel included:

It seems another of South Africa’s ‘best friends’ has found itself under the American cosh. As tensions flare between Israel, the US and Iran, Pretoria once again occupies that awkward diplomatic middle ground – rhetorically aligned with one camp, economically intertwined with another and structurally exposed to both. The irony is hard to ignore: the very naval vessels that recently graced South African waters for so-called ‘peace games’ may now be very expensive artificial reefs.
