A programme of 16 webinars outlining career paths available to students in the refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pumps industry will support World Refrigeration Day, celebrated on 26 June each year. The seminars will take place during the week before and after the 26th in support of the 2021 campaign theme – Cooling Champions: Cool Careers for a Better World.
The webinars will be organised by the World Refrigeration Day’s 2021 campaign partners: UNEP OzonAction, ASHRAE, EPEE, FAIAR, IIR, ISHRAE, and U-3ARC. They will describe trends and opportunities in a wide range of applications and disciplines.
“Refrigeration is at the very heart of modern life,” said Steve Gil, the head of the World Refrigeration Day secretariat. “More than 15 million people are employed worldwide in the refrigeration sector.
