VTS 2021 a success, but the show is not over

Thousands of attendees from 83 countries attended shecco’s 24-hour live Virtual Trade Show (VTS) for natural refrigerants, which took place March 30-31. Although the live event may be over, the virtual platform is still available online for the whole of April to view webinars or visit booths.

ATMO VTS 2021 saw 3 227 individuals from nearly 1 500 companies from around the world register for the event. Running from 10:00 CEST on March 30 to the same time March 31 to accommodate the various time zones, the event featured a jam-packed schedule. The four exhibitor halls (with 35 exhibitors) went all out this year, with many offering meeting room presentations – over and above the 26 webinars (21 live) in the three auditorium halls.

By taking what worked from the first VTS edition in 2020, and incorporating feedback from exhibitors and attendees, then adding our additional improvements to the functionality and design, VTS2021 raised the bar for HVAC&R virtual events.

Thus far, the feedback from the show received from exhibitors and participants alike is very positive. “We have seen a clear improvement in quality, content and engagement between participants – which are key objectives as we become accustomed to the new ‘virtual’ normal,” said Marc Chasserot, Founder of ATMOsphere and CEO of shecco.

The virtual event featured more than 24 hours of content, including numerous technology-orientated sessions and three exciting panel discussions. Two of these sessions featured end users from around the world (including US, South Africa, Europe, and Australia) sharing their experiences with natural refrigerants, while the third panel was a dedicated EU Policy Panel focused on the highly topical F-Gas Regulation Review.

The exhibitors also went all out this year, offering various meeting room presentations and on-booth displays of products. During the 24-hour live period, attendees could interact with each other, as well as with the exhibitors at the booths (complete with personal avatars). Additional networking options were available in the virtual lounge as well as the ATMOsphere Slack community.

And the winners are…

The webinars are also being shared on the ATMOsphere Slack-based network for unlimited viewing.

The Virtual Trade Show for Natural Refrigerants is an annual event, launched in 2020. The next edition is planned for Q1 2022.
