With weeks to go before the FRIGAIR Africa Exhibition the Skills Demo side is ready well and visitors will be able to see what the contestants are doing as opposed to the formal skills programme where they face the wall.
We have six contestants from four Colleges, one from afar as Cape Town (Raetech) and two from Bloemfontein (Motheo) and three from East Rand area (OTTC and ACRA)
Donations for prizes have come from Metraclark, A-Gas, Testo, Rothenberger, Danfoss, ebm papst, GMC Aircon and cash prizes from SAIRAC.
We thank them and the colleges for their participation and generosity.
The competition starts at 09:00 to 15: on the 4th and 5th with Friday 09:00 to 12:00 ending with the prizegiving
Each contestant will receive a Certificate of Participation recording the tasks they had to perform as well as having prizes to take home, content depending on the position they achieve. So not only will they learn/hone their basic skills but have some great prizes and take aways (tools) to return home with.
