As a supplier of thermal packaging products across several industry sectors, including healthcare, food, logistics and construction, the organisation needed an effective cold storage solution capable of interacting with their own products and efficiently altering temperatures.

Two 20ft and two 40ft PolarºStore units, offering maximum scalability and a temperature range of -40°C to +45°C, were delivered to Port Elizabeth in South Africa, on a long-term lease.

Using a hire agreement model rather than outright purchase of the cold storage equipment has allowed the client to find an efficient solution without a large capital outlay on the assets. They also benefit from local service and maintenance support, giving them peace of mind that they have a well-established team of experts on standby who can mitigate risks of potential downtime.

This product brings Dawsongroup’s renowned temperature-controlled solutions to the global market. Simple and cost effective to ship, every unit is designed from the ground up to deliver reliable, high-quality, innovative solutions to cold chain challenges. With hygiene, guaranteed uptime, usability and flexibility at the core of our business, Dawsongroup states they are proud to place their reputation on the range.

The cold storage assets that Dawsongroup global can provide will allow customers to develop, diversify and grow to meet both long-term and short-term business needs.

Units are fitted with industry-leading technology that means the range of cold rooms, blast freezing and superfreezing rooms can be placed separately on site or joined to an existing business prior to ensuring product flow before onward distribution.

In addition, the modular cold store range can be custom-built to meet the facility’s exact needs. Available for both rental and purchase, they are the ideal solution for entire or additional warehouse and logistical needs. The same range of products can also be used as defrosting and tempering facilities to ensure that temperature-controlled logistical needs are met.

Products can further provide general emergency cold storage and ambient warehouse storage solutions.
