The conference will address innovation and technology by an introduction to Cool Chain Association (CCA) projects that are supporting a more quality-driven cool supply chain. Featured guest speakers will include Lucien Jansen, chief executive officer, Perishable Products Export Control Board (PPECB) to give an in-depth overview of the South African perishables landscape, and a talk from Dr Radhika Batra, founder of NGO Every Infant Matters, about reshaping healthcare to make it more accessible.

This virtual free to attend event will take place on 15 September 2021 between 15h30 and 18h00 CET (Central European Time). The agenda will include the following topics:

- Risk and Change Management round table chaired by CCA board member Eric Mauroux; founder and president of FreshBizDev. Learning from the Covid-19 crisis – A journey through the industry’s various initiatives to better identify, assess, and mitigate risk for thermo-sensitive supply chain shipments.
- Collaborating in practice round table chaired by CCA Board member Fabrizio Iacobacci; head of pharma business development at BCUBE Spa to look at the CCA’s work with IATA and Cargo iQ.
