Technology key in reaching herd immunity goals

To achieve the 60% target deemed necessary for herd immunity, Africa needs to vaccinate 780 million people out of a population of 1.3 billion and in South Africa, 40 million people need to receive the vaccine. Air cargo demand up 9% compared to pre-Covid levels

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released February 2021 data for global air cargo markets showing that air cargo demand continued to outperform pre-Covid levels with demand up over February 2019. February demand also showed strong month-on-month growth over January 2021 levels.
