Air cargo demand up 9% compared to pre-Covid levels

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released February 2021 data for global air cargo markets showing that air cargo demand continued to outperform pre-Covid levels with demand up over February 2019. February demand also showed strong month-on-month growth over January 2021 levels. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), in partnership with Oak Ridge National Laboratory, under the Clean Energy Manufacturing Analysis Center (CEMAC ) umbrella, assessed the current state of existing and low-global-warming-potential (GWP) refrigerants for major end-use applications, including heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) and those outside of the HVAC industry.
