Beijer Ref has signed two new agreements to acquire Clima Solutions, an HVAC distributor based in Auckland, New Zealand, and Patton Albury, an HVAC/Rwholesaler based in Albury, Australia.
Clima Solutions is a distributor that provides chillers (as well as related equipment) and industrial applications to the HVAC market. Through its local engineering and design expertise, Clima Solutions offers efficient and environmentally-friendly solutions optimised for different types of refrigerants with a low GWP value. With over 17 years of experience in the market, Clima Solutions has an impressive track record that includes airports, hospitals, hotels, and office buildings. Their annual turnover amounts to approximately SEK35-million. Clima Solutions will be integrated into Beijer Ref’s current organisation in New Zealand.
Beijer Ref is also pleased to announce that it has now completed the acquisition of the outstanding shares (40%) in Patton Albury. Patton Albury offers a wide range of high-performance and energy efficient products. Their annual turnover amounts to approximately SEK30-million and the company will be integrated into Beijer Ref’s current organisation in Australia.
Both acquisitions will have a minor impact on the Beijer Ref Group’s earnings and position.
Christopher Norbye, chief executive officer of Beijer Ref commented, “I am very pleased to welcome Clima Solutions and Patton Albury to the Beijer Ref Group. There are strong synergies between Clima Solutions and Beijer Ref’s organisation in New Zealand. With a solid order book in place already for 2022, we look forward to further accelerating and expanding their business. It is also good to have completed the acquisition of Patton Albury. They have a dedicated team that possesses extensive knowledge in the HVAC/R market. The combination of these two acquisitions further expands our portfolio in Oceania and will generate great opportunities for our customers.”
